Matt Sirianni, Ph.D. -- Principal Investigator

Dr. Sirianni is an early career geoscientist with expertise in the applied use of hydrogeophysical, hydrological, and geospatial techniques. Dr. Sirianni’s work has taken him around the US and has included places like Everglades National Park in Florida, El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico, and Cape Hatteras National Seashore in North Carolina. Dr. Sirianni is passionate about environmental issues along our coastlines, earth science education, and is an active member of the American Geophysical Union Near-Surface Geophysics Executive Committee. In his free time, Dr. Sirianni enjoys watching movies, traveling, outdoor exploration, collecting rocks and fossils, and hanging with his wife (Dr. Hannah Sirianni - ECU) and two dogs (Riley & Stella).
